creative cakes!

I have an amazing friend Kristen who has an incredible hidden talent for making cakes. Well, it won't be hidden after this post :o) One of her first cakes was actually for my baby shower when I was pregnant with Rebekah {the polka dot and stripe cake with the "r" on top}. She has done several but the ones below are only the ones I have pictures of. We have been telling her she needs to start herself a little side business because she is so great at it. Not only are they the cutest and best looking cakes, they are also delicious! She can even make them all organic by request. I'm telling you, she is amazing. Kristen is the one of the most humble and selfless people I know. She isn't going to toot her own horn so to speak.. so I am going to do it for her! :o)
She just did Rebekah's first birthday cupcakes and "smash cake" and they were adorable. She is so creative and can go with any theme or idea you have. She is even doing a tractor cake for Nathan's birthday in two weeks {pics to come of that one}.
