the big 30..

Well, I didn't "feel" old until I just put this picture up.. I am starring at the number 30 and thinking wow, that sounds old. I hear that 30 is the new 20, I guess that is encouraging. Anyway.. I had a great birthday. Brandon had arranged for a sitter but I decided to take the kids with us. We went Macaroni Grill then to the mall. Minus a few time outs and darting for the escalator we had a fun time. I love my little family. Then on Tuesday Brandon had planned a surprise party for me. We usually celebrate birthdays with his family but they were all out of town on Monday. Also, being a twin, Steph and I try to be together on our birthday to celebrate together but we couldn't this year :o( Brandon wanted to make sure that my 30th birthday was a special one.. so even though it was just us Monday, He invited the family and friends over for the party on Tuesday. What a sweet husband... He always makes me feel special! I don't have any of the pictures on my camera but I'll get some and post them later. I am so blessed to have such a great family and friends. 30 isn't so bad after all.
