our little "Linus"

I couldn't resist doing a post on this! Nathan is our little Linus! To say that he loves his blue blanket is an understatement. He wants it where ever he goes, anytime of the day. I even used to bring it in the car with us and am really trying to stop so he just has it at home.. but it is the cutest thing.. and at this point I really don't mind him being attached to it. He usually wants it right after I take him out of his crib in the morning. If I don't he looks back at the bed with his arms stretched out. Sometimes I will purposefully leave it there and after we've changed diaper and clothes and left his room, he'll go back and pull it out from between the slats and get it on his own. 

Being the independent little tike that he is, Nathan loves the stairs (what toddler doesn't!) and well, I am not a fan of him exploring them on his own just yet.  A few weeks ago I was teaching him how to go down them so he wouldn't tumble.. and of course he had his blue blanket in tow. I had to grab the camera. He made it to the bottom all by himself, the blanket never left either of his hands!
